Hebi is a London-based photographer, born and raised in Shanghai. Her work constructs images as sensory experiences, using light, color, and composition to build atmosphere and emotional tone. Working across portraiture, constructed scenes, and architectural spaces, she develops images that carry symbolic meaning and layered narratives.

She draws inspiration from her travels, engaging with different cultures, histories, and local stories. These encounters inform her visual language, where cultural symbols are reinterpreted and woven into her own narrative approach.

She is currently developing a body of work centered on a female gaze, focusing on how the body, surface, and image can negotiate control, vulnerability, and distance.
